Indulgence: cakes, candies & consumables
1. The state or attitude of being indulgent or tolerant.
2. Catering to someone’s mood or whim; gratification
Letting the creative process be an indulgent state of being, I submerged into saccharine pleasures and saturated hues. This exhibition seeks to savor and celebrate the experience of engaging with and reproducing cakes, candies and other consumables. The works aim to create a tactile experience through exploration of texture, color and light. The ensemble of perceptual and gestural paintings, prints and works on paper is the result of much candid inspiration, curiosity and enthusiasm.
