During the fall of your senior year, you will talk with your advisor and decide on a topic for an independent research project, which will also need to be vetted by the Director.

In the meantime, use this space to keep notes on your thinking about what this project could look like.  

You might consider these questions:

• Think of a time during your work in this concentration when you had a real intensity of focus on the task.  What were you doing?  
• What questions haven't yet been answered by your work in this concentration?
• What is a memorable conversation that you've had with a faculty member, fellow student or colleague since starting your work in this concentration?  Why was it memorable?

It might also be helpful to notice connections between practical and academic experiences:

• What interests or curiosities inspired you to choose the practical experiences that you chose?
• What inspired you to choose the electives that you chose?  
• Do you notice connections?

By the end of your senior year, you'll have published your capstone project in this space.
